Theresa started dancing at the age of nine in a small town in Colorado and was very fortunate to have a mother that gave her every opportunity to feed her thirst for more knowledge in all types of dance and "acrobatics." She was driven 80 miles each week, went to fantastic summer camps and traveled to California to study dance, which brought many opportunities through the years for experience in ballet companies, productions, plays. She loved teaching the most. Through the years, she has been director of the Midwest Performing Arts Contest, active with gymnastics, a member of Carmel Arts Council, a promoter of master classes, which include Doug Caldwell, Fosse and Tap Dogs. Theresa is the Executive Director of the Indiana Dance Ambassadors, which has traveled and entertained in the Soviet Union, China and throughout the United States. Theresa has been teaching in the community for 32 years. To remain current she has regularly attended DEA, Dance Caravan, Dance Olympus, Tremaine, Gus Giordano, Luigi, NYCDDA, International Ballet Competition, to name just a few of the workshops and conventions. Her students have won many local, regional and national competitions, and become successful in theater, dance, coaching, teaching and are now very involved in the Performing Arts Center of Carmel.
